Support and contact

Email support@sarkoa.com. A person reads it.

Before you do, Troubleshooting covers the things that go wrong most often, and the FAQ covers billing, formats, security, and integrations. If your question is answered there you will get an answer faster.

What to include

The more of this you can give us, the less back and forth:

  • Your organization name
  • The file or map involved
  • Roughly when it happened, with a timezone
  • The reference code, if the app showed you one
  • A screenshot or the error text

Please leave out API keys and passwords. We will never need them.

Reporting a map

Sarkoa hosts maps published by its users. If you have found a public map that infringes your copyright, exposes personal data, or otherwise breaks the Terms, email report@sarkoa.com with:

  • The full map URL
  • What is wrong with it, in a sentence or two
  • Your relationship to the material, if you are the rights holder

Reports are reviewed within two business days. A map that clearly breaches the Terms is made private immediately while we look at it, and the publisher is told what was reported and why. If you are the publisher and think a map was taken down in error, reply to that message and it will be reviewed by a person.

Specific cases

Processing failed. The failure screen has a reference code and a Send crash report button that includes the technical detail automatically. Use that, and add a sentence about what you were trying to do.

Billing. Most changes, including plan, payment method, and invoices, are self-service through Profile β†’ Billing. Email us for anything that is not.

Enterprise, or tile volume beyond the fair-use guidelines. Email support with Enterprise or high tile volume in the subject line.

Something looks broken across the board. Check status.sarkoa.com first. If it is a known incident, it is already being worked on.
